Lloyd W. Althof, 61 passed away Monday December 9th 2013 at home surrounded by family.  Lloyd was born February 2nd 1952 at Seneca, KS. He Graduated from Highland Park High School in 1972. Lloyd was employed for many years as a mechanic by trade for Vic Yarrington  Oldsmobile and most recently at Bob’s Janitorial. Lloyd enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping.  He also enjoyed horses and country dancing. He was proceeded in death  by his father, Harry Althof; sister, Lana Althof; first wife, Constance Althof.  He is survived by  his spouse, Linda Althof. Son, Joshua Althof (Teresa),step-Son, Jonathan McComas (Megan), and step-daughter, Christina McComas.  Mother, Hazel Althof, brother, Bob Althof (Lela), sisters; Barbara Ford (Larry), Melissa  King (Jeff), and Tiffany Duncan. Grandchildren; Trevion, Gavin, Ariyana, Constance, DeMichael, Bryson, and Shelby.  He also enjoyed the company of many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorial services are to be at Carbondale Christian Fellowship Church (430 Commercial St., Carbondale, KS) Friday December 13th  at 2:00pm. Grave side service and fellowship gathering to follow. Memorial contributions  may be sent to Envista Credit Union- Lloyd Althof Memorial Fund.
